2025 was a challenging yet deeply rewarding year.
Throughout 2025, I had the privilege of assisting many families in taking responsibility for their future and preventing potential crises - both in Israel and abroad. In particular, I had the privilege of supporting families of children with special needs in establishing mechanisms designed to safeguard the children’s well-being and quality of life in the years to come. All of this brings me immense professional fulfillment and motivates me to continue the work I do.
In addition, over the course of the year I had the opportunity to advise many colleagues - lawyers and financial professionals - on matters of trusts and intergenerational planning. In doing so, I have been able to make trusts more accessible as a tool for intergenerational transfer to a broader audience, while enabling my colleagues to provide better and more informed services to their clients.
Alongside my legal practice, I delivered seven professional lectures during the year, including two within international STEP frameworks, as well as my first independent webinar. In parallel - and finally - the manuscript of the second edition of Trusts and Estate Planning in Israel, which I co-authored with Alon Kaplan, was submitted. The book is expected to be published during 2026 (further details on the book can be found here).
In 2025, I also took part in several important initiatives aimed at advancing the field of trusts for the benefit of the public as a whole - ranging from financial solutions for children with special needs, to initiatives to reduce the bureaucracy involved in the use of trusts and to make trust-related services more accessible. I sincerely hope that these initiatives will bear fruit in the near future.
I enter 2026 with a clear goal: to continue working with even greater dedication to help families structure their future. Forward planning and early preparation are critical and essential to preserving family relationships and preserving assets for future generations. At the same time, I will continue to deepen my professional expertise and to provide better solutions for my clients, while also striving to further promote trusts as an accessible and effective tool for intergenerational transfer to the wider public.
I wish us all a good, calm, and successful new year.
